Hi everyone,
Is anyone else having a problem with medicare denying path charges saying that another charge has been submitted for the DOS you are billing for? Usually this is a hospital and when patient is contacted they were not in the hospital on that exact date? I think what is going on is the span that is used by hospitals for weekly visits, chemo, PT, etc.
I am billing 88305 with TC. We see pt one day, do a bx and bill next day for path.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!
