Good morning:

I've just found this diagnosis in one of my requisitions, and I wanted to share it with you!

Diagnosis: The tissue did not survive processing

It's a nail biopsy processed in decalcification solution.

What do you think? Should I code it as uncertain behavior?

Thank you:)

Lisset

No. Uncertain behavior is a dx rendered by the pathologist after examination. If the specimen did not survive processing, then there could be no examination, hence no charge should be submitted.
