I just found out that a patient seen earlier today in the physician's specialty office is currently in a nursing home. How do I bill for this visit? Modifier? Bill the nursing home? Please help. Thank you!
 
Thanks cjhalk@yahoo.com for your input. Unfortunately, those codes won't work. There is a note under them not to report for nursing facility residents. Thanks again for trying to help.
