I am preparing for my annual review. I have seen the AAPC salary survey, but I would like to know more specifically the typical range for the Central Iowa area - Des Moines specifically. I am my employer's first coder and 2 years ago I had just passed the CPC exam. I am just about to apply for my "A" to be removed. Can someone share with me what the typical salary range might be for my area?
