I am wondering if anyone has had any issues with insurance companies not paying due to appointment changes. I haven't known of any myself, but we have a physician who has had that experience in another state. With the upcoming holidays, they just want to make sure insurances will cover.
My thought is, it is based on each individual payer and there is no blanket answer to cover all patients.

never have I heard of this. We have had appts change many times due to patient not feeling well to holidays to other assorted reasons. Never did this interfere with a payer adjudicating the claim for payment.
