Wiki PC billing Z51.5 as last code

In 2021 Regence Medicare Advantage updated their billing policy for claims submission stating that Z51.5 is the last diagnosis code. This was for specialty palliative care providers (certified and/or credentialed as palliative care providers only). My question is this, has anybody tried to bill Z51.5 as the last diagnosis? Have the claims been paid? Does anyone know if other payers are following suit? My provider wants to apply this to ALL of our PC patients, regardless of the insurance, and I worry that the claims will be denied. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
