Hello, has anyone coded for the placement of a Nephrostomy tube
prior to surgery for PCNL by Interventional Radiology.
I used CPT code
50561-Renal Endoscopy through an established nephrostomy tube and removal of calculus ( short version)
50693-Placement of Ureteral stent through pre-existing nephrostomy
