Patient is 25 yrs old with schizophrenia and lives with mom (on mom's insurance). When patient is seen, states he's overwhelmed by mother and feels trap. Mother states, son doesn't eat, doesn't take medication appropriately, won't change, is aggressive, etc. We don't think these services are billable however; looking for advice on how to code for the following scenarios:
1) Mom calls because son is being abusive and threatening or wants him admitted to psy...... Dr on phone for several minutes; advises to call police, take him to ER.
2) Mom calls, requests letter for son to be except from 'jury duty'
3) Mom calls, requests letter/documents to submit to insurance in order to keep son on policy
4) Patient tries to commit suicide by jumping out of moving car; gets admitted. Mom calls and wants patient transferred to another facility
5) Mom calls, requests letter/documentation for legal guardianship.
