I have a 17 year old boy having a Patent Ductus Arteriosus repaired via thoracotomy. After a long search, I coded it 35021. I would like other's advice before I submit it.

See 33820 - repair of PDA; by ligation or 33822 - repair of PDA by division, younger than 18 years.

I think (and I could be wrong) the thoracotomy is inclusive to the procedure.
