Hi all,
I need some help in diagnosing a child who the provider suspects that he has Amblyopia but is not definitive of the diagnosis until he is seen in glasses for several follow up visits. How should the visits leading up to the definitive diagnosis be coded? I don't want to use the Amblyopia codes until he has been diagnosed.....help!
