Wiki Pediatric Wellness Visits with Behavioral Screenings

Hi,

I am inquiring on a modifier for behavioral screenings. The cpt code is 96127. I have been billed these codes with wellness codes 99391-99393 with a 25 modifier attached to the wellness visit, and a 59 to the screening visit. Normally, I would attach only a 25 modifier to the wellness, but I read that you should also bill a 59 modifier to the screening visit? Would this be correct?

We cannot append 59 Modifier for 96127 when performed with 99391 - 99393, Eventhough 96127 is allowed two times per visit and some payers may append 59 Modifier when billed two times in 1 line 96127 and 96127-59
