I would love help with this question... I work for a private practice pediatricians office.
One of our docs saw a patient in the ED to admit them & the hospital Resident did a lumbar puncture under our docs supervision. My doc is asking if he can bill for the lumbar puncture? (I'm thinking not - but I am out of my element with how to bill in the ED.)

Any guidance?
