Is there a code for removal of a PEEK implant during the same surgical procedure which includes insertion of new instrumentation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When removing hardware during a spinal procedure and replaceing the same hardware you only code for the placement, not the removal. Hope this helps.

Removal of PEEK implant

Removal of the Peek implant is not the same as removal of instrumentation with insertion at same session.

PEEK 22851 is separate from instrumentation 22842

Wondering if there is a code for removing the PEEK implant.
