Wiki PEG - Doctor only docs he went to stomach

Some of our physicians are doing PEG tube placements and when they dictate, they don't mention the scope entering the duodenum. Are we to use 43246 with a -52 modifier when they don't mention in their dictation that they entered the small intestine?

Yes, if they do not go to the duodenum we are using the -52 modifier.
