hello.. I have looked through the threads here re: PEG removal but I noticed they are for the office setting. I have a PEG removal done in the Endoscopy center. The patient is now eating well and they havent used the PEG tube in a few months so they scheduled an EGD to have it removed.

I know we can't code for the removal, but can we code 43235 because the EGD was done in order to remove the tube? The physician did document that the esophagus, stomach and duodenum were all examined.
