Female patient had a drain placed for pelvis abscess. When I look up abscess pelvic it gives me K65.1 for the male patient and for the female it states "see disease , pelvic, inflammatory". When I look this up it states to use N73.9. Is this the correct diagnosis for female pelvic abscess?
