What code do I use for this?

Depends on a few factors, like if it was an injury, postoperative or intraoperative complication etc. But if you start in the ICD-10-CM Alphabetic Index under Hematoma you can find many of these categories, including one for just the pelvis of a female. Under hematoma it directs you to see also contusion, where you will find a category for pelvis that is not specifically of the female pelvic organs. Verify your selection in the Tabular List and that it is congruent with the documentation.
Hope this helps,

Hello, we would typically code a pelvic hematoma with code K66.1- Hemoperitonium.
(unless specified by the physician documentation as traumatic then we would select from the S code series.)
Email me or message me on here with any type of coding questions especially all Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular, Vascular and Endovascular, Neurointerventional Endovascular, Cardiovascular Thoracic, Anesthesia, E/M.
