RICA and LCCA angiographies, catheterization of jugular vein via femoral w/balloon do occlude draining vein during treatment, Left face prepped...w/US guidance, portion of the avm accessed w/angiocath. Contrast injxn. done by hand injxn with & without lt. jugular vein balloon occlusion. Process repeated at total of 9 different sites in craniocaudal fashion. Next. large aneurysmal sac portion of AVM and a smaller feeding branch accessed percutaneously w/angiocath. contrast injxn. via hand injxn. with & without lt. internal jugular balloon occlusion...X2..On 3rd attempt, unsuccessful deployment of left Ruby coil. so...lantrn microcath thru smaller feeding branch into larger sac..more successful placement of coils. coils placed into aneurysmal sacs X3 and 9 site administration of lipiodol....Successful multisite percutaneous instillation of n-BCA sclero & percutaneous coil embo of large left facial avm w/targeted embo of dilated variceal outflow vein component..coils..w/occlusiion balloon intermittent deployment in jug.vein to reduce non target embo.
