Hello,

I had a physician do a pericardiocentesis and pericardial drainage. What CPT codes can be used for this ?
 
Pericardiocentesis is coded 33016, pericardial drainage (with catheter placement) older the 6 years old 33017 using U/s or fluoro guidance. 33019 is for CT guidance.
