I had a pt come in for a PET Scan, we injected him with Pylarify and once we were going to scan him, he became claustrophobic. How would I bill for the meds given?

MedLearn states if the radiopharmaceutical is administered and no imaging was performed, choose the lowest level CPT code in the intended section of CPT and bill with -52 or -53 modifier. If you have administered a radiopharmaceutical, you have begun the study - administration is an integral part of the NM procedure code.
