Is the correct code for PFC (patellarfemoral chondromalacia) 7177? If so, what is the code for Patellarfemoral syndrome? Is it the same thing?

Chondromalacia patella results from degeneration of cartilage due to poor alignment of the kneecap as it slides over the lower end of the thigh bone (femur). This process is, therefore, sometimes referred to as patellofemoral syndrome. Would be the same code, 717.7.
