We have a pharmacy that rents space in our clinic. They are closing up; the parent company is in another state. Notice has been posted for greater than 3 weeks and they have reached out to all their patients notifying them of the need to transfer their Rx to another place. Do we, as a clinic, need to do anything regarding maintaining a data base of the Rx filled or payments made? To the "regular-Joe" the pharmacy appeared to be a part of our clinic so the concern is that we will be getting calls from patients regarding their prescriptions.
