In our Pediatric clinic, our MD spends lots of time on the phone with school counselors and they would like to bill for these services. The "T" codes are not recognized by our payors. Does anyone have any ideas for this provider to get reimbursed for these services?
 
The only thing that is available is the 99358 -99359 for prolonged non face to face. Some carriers cover this and some do not. The phone call codes are no longer T codes but they must be a call placed by the patient or guardian to the provider.
