Hello, we are a Plastic Surgery department and have a professional medical photographer in the office who takes craniofacial pictures for insurance purposes along with other medical pictures which insurance companies request to determine if authorization is required. Currently, we have patient's paying for these pictures out of pocket. Our office is inquiring if there is a specific code that can be used to bill the insurance, or would you say it's considered part of the office visit? Any help and input would be great!
