Is anyone aware of a photography CPT code that we can use to bill for photographs when a patient has basal cell carcinoma? Dx code is 173.1 and is billable in the Ophthalmology section for External Ocular Photographs but we are looking for other areas of the skin other than around the eye.

No charge

We take lots of photographs of patients to document their conditions. We never charge anything for that. It's just part of the total care of the patient.
