Please help me to understand this code. If a Medicare patient has met their P.T. Cap for the year and we need to put a KX modifier on charges in order for M/C to pay, will they pay for CPT code 97112?:)
 
I don't think that is one of the dx codes for an automatic exemption from the Medicare Cap. Medicare has what dx codes are allowed and what is needed if it does not meet the requirements. Sorry, I don't have the list on me.
