I am told by the PT at our facility that although reimbursement is low, he can charge for dressing changes. I've searched this and found that we can't charge if only a wound dressing was cleaned/changed but he thinks it would point to non-selective debridement (97602). I think that code only means that it was debrided but without a sharp instrument and was done so by other means.
