Looking for help finding information regarding Physician Billing for family members. Sticky situation with physician wanting to bill surgery charges for spouse. Searching for official documentation guidelines to show physician.

Review the contract the Provider signed with the insurance. Most contracts state within a clause the the Provider agrees not to provide medical services to a family member. BlueCross is one contract that still states this to my provider.
