Is there a rule or a guideline that states one has to see the physician in a practice at least once annually or can a patient visit the ARNP/PA on an ongoing basis.
I think that the physician is responsible for the initial encounter. If there are no serious issues and visits are routine, even over the course of several years, must there be face to face physician contact? Can't the ARNP/PA provide the care?
