Picking HPI out of the ROS

I believe that you can pick out your HPI elements out of the ROS can anybody elaborate on this?
 
You can pick your ROS elements from your HPI, and vice versa. So if you need a Comp ROS and you have less than 10 listed in the ROS section of your note, you may look to your HPI for documentation of the missing elements. HPI elements may also be placed in your ROS, so if you only find 3 elements in your HPI, and need 4, look to your ROS.
