Picking Up Diagnoses from an Echo

Way back when I was a baby coder in 2006, I was told that we could pick up two diagnoses from an echocardiogram:
1. Dilated Aortic Root
2. Pulmonary Hypertension

Many years later, I'm a not-so-baby coder and I was told that no, we can't pick up anything from an echo.

Have I been coding echos incorrectly for 20 years?
