The patient is coming to pick up Sleep Study supplies at the clinic. The clinic has been billing out 99211, but the patient is getting a copay for the visit. The visit is with a nurse, not a provider. Is there another code that can be used instead of 99211? I was thinking about the code 98960 for a code that cn be used instead of 99211. For the code 98960, what happens if the patient does not receive educational training for the whole 30 minutes?

Picking up Sleep Study supplies is the only reason the patient is visiting? Why is this being billed as an evaluation and management visit? Is the nurse evaluating the patient every time they get new supplies?
