Wiki Pilonidal cyst

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if I can have some advice. I have a proctologist who brought in a patient for pilonidal cystectomy. A plastic surgeon was involved to close the cyst via Z-plasty. My guess is that only one code is to be reported; 11772. Since two physicians are involved, would you report say 11771 and 14000? Thank you for your time.

If you look at the description it says flaps or i.e. z plasty may need to be performed, so I would think that it would be reasonable for the plastic to use the 14000 separately.
