I am wondering if the reimbursement is better for colonoscopies, or any procedure for that matter, when done at POS 24 (an ambulatory surgical center) vs POS 22 (out pt at hospital)?

physician reimbursement does not change unless the procedure is done in the office. Outpatient hospital or ASC are both considered facilities and the physician is paid the facility rate for their service. If done in an office setting reimbursement is higher due to the higher malpractice and practice expense.
