Performed a repeat OB ultrasound due to the prior ultrasound finding a marginal placenta previa. Today's ultrasound finds no placenta previa. Findings were left posterior placenta. I am unsure how to code this finding. Hoping someone can help me out.

Placenta Previa Resolved condition

Hi Penny,

From what you provided, I had a couple of questions but going on what you supplied, the condition seems to have been caught early in pregnancy by U/S and by the next evaluation, the condition resolved which is usual. The placenta grows during pregnancy. The position of placenta you supplied indicates this as resolved. I will leave it to you in regards to guidelines for resolved conditions.

Hope this Helps!
