Hello,

I do not code cardiology and would appreciate it if someone could help me out on this question that was posed to me. One of my doctors places stents in the LAD and another one in the LCX in the same session. Would he code 92928-LD, and 92928-LC-59 or 92929-LD and 92929-LC? I am thinking I would use the 92928 2x's with the mod 59 but need guidance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

92928-LD and 92928-LC. Personally I don't put -59 modifiers on the 2nd and subsequent 92928's and haven't been having problems. There is just one payor I have that seems to have issues paying for this code when billed more than once!
