:)Hello,

I have to code the following and cannot find Pseudonomas species anywhere!!

(Acute bronchitis due to Pseudonomas species)

I found Acute bronchitis 466.0 but it from there it doesn't direct me to the find the etiology of Pseudonomas nor it's the word is in the index.

Can someone help? :(

Thanks
Pgomez

hmm..well, there's PNEUMONIA DUE TO PSEUDOMONAS 482.1 - but I can't find acute bronchitis due to pseudomonas......

actually found more info- how about 466.19 Acute bronchiolitis due to other infections organisms (use additional code to identify organism) AND 041.85 :)

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is member of the Gamma Proteobacteria class of Bacteria. It is a Gram-negative, aerobic rod belonging to the bacterial family Pseudomonadaceae.

does that help?
