I am new to this and I am confused about the codes 93555 and 93556. Can we bill 93556 S&I COR and 93556 S&I AOG together?

I hope this is not confusing but can we bill 92982-LC and 92980-LC together or do we just bill for 1 since its on the same artery?

I hope this make sense :D The more I look at the more I confuse my self

Ok, I will try to answer your question:rolleyes:

Yes, you can bille 93556-26 & 93555-26 together. You would need mod 59 if the doctor does a stent/ptca also. If you are doing just a coronary artery study, you would only use the 93556-26.

You CAN NOt bill a Ptca and Stent together if done in the Same vessel.
Now if the LC had a stent 92980 and the LD had a PTCA you will bill the Ptca as 92984.

Hope this helped!!:)
