Hi Wondering if anyone would be able to help code for the following:
Low Anterior Resection with rectoplexy and Colostomy (skin)
Thought that the correct code would be 44141? Just not sure
Parts of the descrip. read: The Sigmoid was divided at it midportion with GIA then messentary of sigmoid was taken down over kelly clamps etc etc. The rectum was divided in its midportion following
stapling with TA 60 stapler and the sigmoid and rectum were removed from the field. Peritoneal reflection of sigmoid was incised. A circular portion of skin was excised from left midabd. and rectusm muscle was split longitudinally and sigmoid was brought out as an end colostomy. etc. Any help would be appreciated.
