Operation: Diode Repair Retinal Tear, left eye

The patient was brought to the procedure room. The operative eye was anesthetized with Proparacaine. After the eye was completely anesthetized, the patient was placed in front of the Diode laser. The laser was adjusted for alignment, focus and comfort. A Goldmann three mirror lens was placed on the eye. Laser energy was delivered per numbers noted. The retina tear was surrounded with three-four rows of laser spots avoiding the retinal vasculature.
