If a patient presents to the office with a BCBS Medicare advantage HMO (we do not participate) And wants to be selfpay but we have a contract with traditional Medicare can we accept self pay from patient?

We have patients sign an insurance waiver so they know we will not bill their insurance. They can then file their own claim with the insurance if they want to try to get reimbursed from the insurance directly. We are out of network with most Medicare Advantage plans too. (These patients no longer have Traditional Medicare that the Drs are contracted with.)
