Dx: "Routine Medical Screening"
What is the appropriate dx to use in this case??


And what would be the appropriate dx to use if just "Medical Screening" is used??

The patient is on no meds for issues that would need testing such as lipitor, insulin, coumadin, etc? It is advisable to know specifically what the screening id=s for as a patient may have benefits that cover some but not others.. If that is absolutely all that is documented the use a code for unspecified screening.
 
I would say if the provider documented that these were ordered for screening then a screening code should be used for the tests.
