Hi! I'm not sure of the correct code for a percutaneous needle tenotomy of the shoulder. My provider is using 23405, but that is an open procedure. Is there a better code, or would you use unlisted? What would you compare it to- 23405 or 24357?

Superior rotator cuff PNT-

PROCEDURE NOTE: LEFT superior rotator cuff/supraspinatus tendon percutaneous needle tenotomy. The patient was verbally and written consented for the procedure after discussion of procedure, risks, benefits and alternative options. The patient was sterilely prepped and draped and via a lateral approach, a 22-gauge 1.5 inch needle was inserted into the subacromial bursa and the deep edge of the tendon where approximately 5 mL of 1% lidocaine without epinephrine were injected. Approximately 30 longitudinal incisions were made with needle passage along with abrading of the periosteum of the greater tuberosity under direct ultrasound guidance. Next, approximately 50% of a mixture containing 40 mg of Depo-Medrol and 5 mL of 1% lidocaine without epinephrine.

Thanks!
