I have had some phone calls on questions about using the Present on Admission code for CAH's, my research has shown that it is not needed for us. What are others finding and does your billing office have any input for you?

Interesting. We don't report POA codes to anyone. Maybe I should call Medicaid because come to think of it, Medicaid doesn't recognize us as a CAH.
