Does anybody have a list of common supplies given by podiatrists (heel cups, compression socks, etc) and their CPTs? I code for a few different specialties but for some reason it seems like podiatry supplies are the most difficult to find in the HCPCS book. Thank you!
 
Here's a list of what we use. Incidentally, we do have the patients sign waivers...
Heel grips, hammertoe cushions, toe separators, digital pads, digital caps - we use L2999 for these.
Scaphoid pads - L3070
Metatarsal cookies - L3080
Heel cups - L3460 or L3485
Heek pads - L3480
Dancer pads - L3560
 
For HCPCS codes for Shoe Modifications - Heels (L3430 - L3485), are these coded as pair or each?

Does anyone have a good reference for when to code as pair versus each for HCPCS? Thanks.
