New to Podiatry billing and having some struggles with getting claims paid. If a patient comes in and has their toenails trimmed and has diabetes, we seem to do ok, but when they don't have diabetes, the claims are getting denied even for the office visit when billed with the 117 codes. How are offices billing these services.
