New coder in gastro. I have 3 questions
1- How do you code a polypoid in the rectal stump?

2 -The MD wrote in the post op diagnosis: Recurrence of tumor involving the rectal stump consistent with adenocarcinoma. Do I code adenocarcinoma? the pt had a colostomy before due to cancer but he did biopsies and sent them to the lab.

3- What codes should I use for colonoscopy through the colostomy then introduced thru the anorectal area. 2 codes? or one??
