Polyp removal and biopsy - different colon sites

Okay, brain freeze here - or CRS as it has been a long time since I coded or audited colonoscopies. If in the same procedure the physician removes polyps via snare technique (CPT45385) and also removes other tissue for biopsy (CPT 45380) can both codes be reported or just the polyp removal? And is -59 required if both are coded? This is one advancement of the scope.

I was taught you can only bill the 2 procedures if they were done in different areas, not the same segment of the colon. Is this wrong?
