Poor Prep - Modifier 74

I have a few cases where patient comes in for a screening colonoscopy and the provider makes it to the Cecum but states patient needs to come back next year for poor prep. Would we append modifier 74? Tough because they made it through the colon but couldn't see properly to complete actual screening.

I would use modifier 53. Even though he did make it to Cecum the visibility was poor and he will be repeating procedure due to this and modifier 74 is used for -Discontinued Outpatient Hospital/Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Procedure After Administration of Anesthesia
