Wiki POS 81 Denials

Hi there,

Is anyone else receiving denials for commercial plans saying the POS is incorrect for 81 as it has to be where the specimen was obtained? I know that UHC is not doing this to other labs but is just doing it to ours? Does anyone have any advice on this or have dealt with this?

yes I have received denials from insurance that has stated 81 in the incorrect POS. have changed it to 11 and still get rejections. not sure what to do. can anyone help.
